Kvidha is built so that writing a book is calmer, and that goal includes the people using it. We want the app and this site to work for authors who rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, system text scaling, reduced motion, or high-contrast settings. This page describes where we are, honestly, and how to tell us when we fall short.
We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our baseline for this website, and we apply the same spirit to the desktop app. We do not yet claim full conformance; it is a target we build toward and test against, not a box we have ticked.
The live paginated editor is a visual, spatial surface, and screen-reader support for its page view is an area we are still improving. Some decorative illustrations on this site are presented to assistive technology as images without descriptive text because they carry no information beyond their appearance. If either of these gets in the way of your work, we want to hear about it.
Accessibility is never finished, and the fastest way we improve is a real report from someone it affected. Email [email protected] with the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use, and we will work with you on a fix. You can also reach us through the contact page.
